Wei-ju Wu is a german software engineer living and working in Seattle with his family. He writes Open Source software for a living and for leisure. He spent the majority of his career working on software in life science and cancer research and currently works at the Institute for Systems Biology.

His main “pet” software project is the “Z-machine Preservation Project (ZMPP) an interpreter for Interactive Fiction running on Java technology, which was released as an Open Source project.
